What Really Causes Big Thighs
Only 5% of women on this planet are blessed with a body that will not accumulate fat in their lower body as they age. This of course means the thighs, the hips and the butt area.
For the rest of the 95% or… us, in a few years we’ll have big thighs, hips and butts and we’ll be looking like big giant walking pears. Fortunately though, we’re not totally destined for doom. There is still hope!
There are tons of products, programs, diets out there today made specifically just for slimming down big thighs. But before you go scurrying off to try the latest craze it’s important you understand the real reason behind getting BIG THIGHS.
Thousands of years ago, in the time of cave men and cave women, there wasn’t a lot of food to be eaten. There was certainly no farming and most likely fire had not even been discovered yet.
Because of the lack of food, especially during times of famine and even drought, it’s a miracle humanity survived at all… and in no large part thanks to our ancestor’s big thighs and…. evolution.
As the human body evolved, men started to store extra fat in their upper body (e.g. belly area) while women started to store extra fat into their hips and thighs. This was extremely useful for times of food scarcity and for women; this eventually aided them during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
As a sort of food storage, these fats stored into the thighs, or thigh-fat as it is sometimes called, can be easily used by the body when there is little food for the mother and her born or unborn child. So in a way, as humanity evolved into what we are today, this programming remained and was hardcoded to our DNA.
This is why it is so hard to get rid of thigh fat in the first place! Genes left to us by our cavewomen ancestors direct our bodies hormones and enzymes to store every single piece of extra calorie into our thighs and hips fat cells.
Evidence of this can be seen if you compare two women of the same age. One being naturally fatter in the thigh area while the other not so much. If you compare both their sex hormone estrogen, the one with the bigger thighs will have higher estrogen levels than the other.
